Beveled Cedar Siding:
Our beveled/lap has a semi rough/smooth surface as produced by a
thin bladed band saw. The siding is typically cut from high
quality clear/small tight knot Western Red Cedar logs 12-16 feet long.
Any defects are identified and are cut out (or the length is
discounted). The resultant siding is then sold as random lengths
of 4 foot to 16 foot with the majority of the pieces being in the
longer lengths. As with our other materials we typically cut
siding to order, however, we do maintain a stock of common sizes such
as 1/2 x 8", 3/4 x 8" and 3/4 x 10".
We can cut custom orders to match your existing siding or for special applications.
Douglas Fir beveled siding is also available at approximately 60% the cost of cedar.
