The
3 1/2" thick slabs were cut from this log. They were cut in June
2008 and have been stacked, stickered and air drying. Individual
slabs are described and pictured below with fresh cut and/or current
pictures. Moisture content is atmospheric for coastal Oregon
~16-18%. Some of these slabs have some very nice figuring. The 2" thick slabs have been manufactured from a variety of logs. All 2" thick slabs have been kiln dried to ~8% but they are stored in an unheated shed - thus the surface moisture is ~16-18%. |

5' Long - 2" thick slabs are $10/bft. Kiln dried. Sample pictures of several ~24" wide slabs available. Some have significant cracks/defects - aka character. |
